When you think of animation movies, what pops in to mind? For some it may be three D, for others perhaps sci-fi or action movies, and for others, cartoon animation. There have been a number of great three D animation films recently released over the past twelve months, and for the most part, they’ve all been quite impressive. Movies like Alice in Wonderland, Avatar, and made their presence felt this past year.

Animation films are becoming more and more exciting, entertaining, and popular these days. Not only are they appealing to children, but to adults as well. One of my ultimate favorites are The Madagascar movies, for a few reasons in particular. First, I have to say that the plots are quite interesting, as there always seems to be a good story being told that us as viewers will enjoy following. Secondly, the graphics are simply amazing. There’s something about animation films that help create a sense of realism despite watching a cartoon on the big screen. Finally, I absolutely can’t get enough of the characters found in the film. Simply put, the Madagascar films have been nothing but amazing, with great story lines, humor, and a ton of drama!

More specifically are the Antarctic funny creatures who feed off each other. Those penguins sure are a handful and are in essence a large component to the character development of the film. Which character was your favorite? Penguin characters, Private, Rico, Kowalski, and Skipper each bring something different to the table, which makes them that much more appealing to watch on the big screen. Nonetheless, the entire animation cast was enjoyable to watch and have had a positive impact on a bunch of people, especially when it comes to character disguises for costume parties and Halloween.

As Halloween approaches us, there should be a significant amount of penguin costume disguises waddling around the neighborhoods. For many parents, a Halloween penguin costume couldn’t be a better choice, simply because they’re such cute and adorable little disguises. The beauty of creature and animal costumes is that they come in a massive variety and can be as unique as you make them. They range from dogs, rabbits, insects, and of course, penguins. We all can most likely agree that a toddler or child is more than adorable prancing around as a little furry animal, however, the same holds true with adults. As grown men and women, they have the chance to put on a variety of disguises in their animal look, whether it be cute, funny, or sexy. The point is that any type of look can be accomplished with the use of one’s imagination and creativity. With so many interests and pop culture influences, Halloween and costume preparation can be quite fun.

I think it’s safe to say that the number of animated movies has had a very large impact on costume designs year after year, as seen with a toddler penguin costume, and it should be interesting to see what new movies produce Halloween outfits next season.
